We will and it's obvious we won't be worried about Sporting in the meantime...

Although this week, I'm pulling for you guys against those clowns from the North.

As President of the Axis of Evil, I am completely stupified by the recent developments. If Trappatoni pulls this off, sainthood should not be far behind. The fact that Porto most likely will go for a recordbreaking 5th coach in one year tells you all ya need to know. Consistency and stubborness is the key to winning. No one at this time can compete with Trappatoni in Portugal when it comes to those two factors.

Sporting's achiles has always been defense. Last year they masked it well because of the season Polga had. This year forget it. Gone are days when Sportinguistas actually thought Beto would be sold to Real Madrid.

Sidenote...Braga is the leagues best defensive team. Benfica should have bought Nunes with the money from Luisao instead of Anderson. This year he has been the best defensive player in the league.

It's hasn't anything to do with Golden whistles, but with Golden Showers, as Sporting Administration and coaching have conspired to piss all over themselves this season.-RedEagle

Red- Have you seen Anderson at all? I only know that he was thrown out of their last game. I don't see Corinthians being listed as being shown on FSC any time soon.

According to Ze Da Fiel, Anderson is the type of central defender that never misses - either gets the ball or the player, but never misses.

That's not much of a ringing endorsement. A coked up F1 could probably pull that off.

No..but I have seen Nunes. Clean and prolific at marking strikers. Complete control of the defensive zone. Outstanding central defender. Luisao is going to be missed, and this guy would have been the ideal pick-up. Although so far I like Alcides as well.
