OT: Holla at Loco

Lo, I don't really want to talk to Fangio or anyone else at xt. the way I remember the Argentina/Brazil match in the 1995 Copa America was that Argentinal was leading (goal by Batistuta on a cross by Ortega) and Passarella inexplicably took Batistuta off and replaced him with a defender. Then Tulio scored, tying the match which then went to PK's. I think Simeone missed his, and someone else, but Batistuta wouldn't have.

What do you remember?

Hummie...here it is...scroll down to the Brazil-Argentina stats of their quarterfinal game back in 1995...you will see who made and who missed the penalties.

Is that when you fell in lust with Crespo?

Anyhow, had it not been for the ref, the match would have ended 2 x 1. Tulio scored at the agonizing minutes with his hand!

Yet I'm not bitter. Uruguay beat Brazil 2 x 0 and Francescoli got to lift up the trophy.

Interesting fact: Copa America is the oldest internantional soccer tournament in the world. I believe the first Copa America was played in 1919 with Uruguay winning the cup.

Interesting Fact: The Copa America is still run as if we are living in the year 1919.

Crespo didn't play in the 1995 Copa America.

If Passarella hadn't blown off the USA team and fielded subs, we wouldn't have faced Brazil in the quarter finals, probably making it to the final match.

Yet it's still far more exciting than the Euro Cup.

There's 137 viewers looking at the Portuguese forum right now! Is that or is that not the sign that we rule!

Those number may be a little exaggerated. Simeon bitch ussually oppens uo 30 or 40 different windows when trolling the forum.

His intent is trying to find a quote that will make Timmy look stupid. No such luck as of yet.

That was just minutes ago. Conclusion? News travels fast (thank you Al Gore). It's obvious to me that they all heard about Pila being the brand spankin' new FM here.
