This was the starting 11 that resulted in a 3-0 Colombia whooping  Marshall , raltson and mathis were the scorers. Marshall was a beast! It will be the same 11!

Let's hope England bring the A-team. It would be a shame to field scrubs and charge $90 for a ticket.

Wenger has already lobbed him bombs at the proposed tour of America, and if Chelsea is in the Champons League Final, Lampard won't be here. I would suspect that many 1st teamers will opt out of the trip, or at least Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool players ... ooops, that is the English National teams base.

All the teams mentioned will be in competition at the end of the year for major English and UEFA trophies (FA Cup & Champions League).

The US completely dominated the match. The only negative is that the score did not match their dominance.

All of the starters played well, even Mathis. Thought Noonan was very impressive at left mid; he handed Reyes his lunch about 6 times. Ralston also looked good, too. Seems like he is finally finding his comfort level with the national team.

The TV analyst loved Dempsey though he did not particularly stand out for me. Mastroeni was a rock and Borchers, Marshall and Albright were solid in the back.

I have mixed feelings about Ching's performance. On the one hand, he worked hard, and made some fine passes but I think a few times he was too unselfish. Then, the two times he had good chances for himself, he made a mess of them. I still like him, but it was not a great game for him.

Johnson looked very strong. His confidence is soaring.

I agreed with Hern completely. Ching would have been outstanding if only he could finish. Ralston and Noonan were exceptional on the flanks in the first half. I really liked Noonan's ball control, he showed beautiful movements.

Albright turned out to be a releable defender, at least in this game against a lesser opponent. For some reason, I really liked Borchers whom I saw for the first time. He controlled the air and provided good coverage in the back.

Hartman did far better than Cannon, but then again, Honduras did not have much chance in the first half.

E. Johnson is a good finisher, and he will only get better with more experience!

I don't think Borchers will hold up under stiffer competition.

Forgot to mention that Martino sucked in the second half and Convey didn't show much.

Eddie is a beast. Pair him up with Buddle and you will see a crazy twosome

Noonan was good! :respect: and

I like Marshall(grerat potential)! He reads the game very well and is calm under pressure

I have to say that I was dissapointed in the two so called warm up matches played leading up to the matches vs. Mexico & Guatemala. I hope the players are not overconfident by their showing, beacuse I thing the competition was lacking, if not non-existant.

Columbia was physical, but not-committed to anything else.
Honduras was even less committed to attack, or our pre-season boys are already WORLD beaters.

IMHO, think these game were of NO USE to the lads in the build up to Mexico & Guatemala, except to provide a test to fitness, maybee, though the pace to teh Honduras game was ponderous at best. I would hope Bruce re-emphasize the fact that the atmosphere away from home will be more intense, especially for the newbies. The Azteca crowd may not win the game, but they can lift "their team."
