Lazio sack coach Domenico Caso

ROME, Dec 22 (SW) - Italian side Lazio Roma have sacked coach Domenico Caso after a dissapointing season start. This was revealed by chairman Claudio Lotito on Wednesday.

Lotito used a local radio station to tell both the public and the coach himself: "Caso will be replaced, as well as some of the players. He is a good guy who lost control over the situation due to his own fault, maybe he wasn't indulgent enough."

Possible successors are Papadopulo, Camolese, Maifredi and Materazzi. Lazio are currently in 15th position and their first match after the Christmas break will be the Roman derby with arch rivals AS Roma.
