New Kits???

Looks like the HNS are talking with Nike to change up the home kits a bit. I kind of like the home kits as they are but the feeling is that the white dominates to uniforms..but, haven't all our home kits (except that last Nike design) looked pretty much the same? I know we've been through this a thousand times, but, I have to say, I love these home kits.

I like the ones we used in the 2002 WC the best, only thing I don't like about the shirt is the way they put the numbers and names on the shirt.

I like the away kits, better than home. Does anyone know where I can purchse an authetic kit? (Player version) Everywhere I look on the net, they only seem to have replicas. I am looking for the away jersey, In the long sleeve version. I already tried subside, and they do not have them. Thank you.

I love our jerseys now. They are classic all checkers with a nice design and a bit of gold for the outlining, its perfect. The home and away look great, and yes the numbers have always been butchered on our home jerseys but there is a simple solution to that. 2 colours on the numbers. Blue as the base or outside and white in the middle to bring out the visibility of the #'s. I hope Srebric and Nike don't make a mockery of our jerseys trying to forcefully incorporate more red into the scheme. Why do we have to change jerseys because our home kit looks predominantly white? so does Germany's DUH, Bulgaria's and so many countries have thier away kits with white I dont get what the problem is? Blue away, red with predominant white at home? IDIOTS.

Amen...if you look at our home kits since Euro96, they've all been pretty much of the same design. Sure they were butchered like in 2002 but, they all had the checkerboard base to them. Why all of a sudden are they a problem? It's my understanding that as the home team you pick the uniforms that you wear, its up to the other team to worry about their away kits.

Nike finally got it right, fixed the home kits up nicely and they look absolutly perfect the way they are now...you look at the pic on my sig and I see nothing wrong with the NT home kits.

Though, I believe the change will happen for the WC since it seems the uniform makers seem to change designs now for every major tournament.

Exactly JureM, that pic in your sig just shows how great the jerseys and the whole kits are now! the colours just jump out at you from the page and t.v. screen. Its become definitive of Croatian soccer. Who else has anything close to resembling our N/T jerseys and kits? I'm sure that every country in Europe can use either thier home or away kits to look distinguishable from one of ours(either the blue away or white home) our colour scheme is totaly perfect for contradicting the other teams(Italy Blue-England Red-Germany White-France Blue-Holland Orange-Portugal Maroon-Sweden Yellow-Bulgaria White-Serbia Blue-Spain Red etc.... only France, Czech Rep and us have red white and blue kits and even then France starts with Blue and finishes with Red socks so there is no problem in that. Something fishy going on with this... :hide:

Yep, if you look at the progression of our home kits not much has changed..here are pictures of the current one's down to the 98 Lotto's...the 96 Lottos look similar to these current ones but with a collar....if anything to change on these new ones, maybe where the white area is on the side, make that red...

Maybe we should have to represent the board and the next Nike meeting. You have to be forceful and tell them not to change the kits and tell them why... :tooth:
