And with that reasoning we might as well post about every team that plays 'them' turning this into nothing but a forum of hate and in essence a quasi-EU forum.

It's a Croatian forum for Croats, and the Republic that represents them.

Cheers

On the first point, I am not suggesting doing a thread for "them", I was just stating my thoughts...

ON the second, well said... :cap:

Xtratime has a great Bosnian forum, I believe 5-6 regular posters and growing which is very good for a BiH forum

I will get political here. When its Hrvatska do Drine and Bosna do Jadrana then we can discuss N/T soccer in Bosna on the Croatian forum. Becuase we will be one(the way it should be), untill then however they have their own and we have our own and if thats the way people from Bosna(Muslims) want it well then thats cool too. All Hrvati from Hrvatska from Bosna and Hercegovina, from Srijem and Boka Kotorska to the diaspora are all 1 and the same and should cheer for THE CROATIAN NATIONAL TEAM! first and foremost.

Right on Croatman...

Hrvatska to drine and Bosna do Jadrane. That would solve many problems I tell ya, and imagine the domestic league we'd have.

Cheers

ps. Oljua I never said that you said to create a thread for 'them'. You said you'd cheer for anyone who played against them. Meaning we'd have to open umteen threads for every NT who played against our neighbours.

Bosnia and Hercegovina is a country with no identity. Ive spent the better part of 3 months here, theres no unity. Some chose to ignore it and live in a dreamland, but its a reality.

Mostar, Capljina, Stolac, Ljubuski, Medjugorje, Grude, Livno, Siroki, Posusje etc. etc. dont accept this country as theirs, only for tax purposes. I dont know the anthem, I dont love the flag they gave us a few years back nor does it represent anything and I dont appreciate the bosniaks forcing us to learn "bosnian" etc.

We support Croatia....we are Croatian and thats the way it will stay...

dont get me wrong, I respect BiH, I was born here and a lot of us died defending this country, but you cant change a peoples 1300 year old identity, tradition and nationality with new ones in 10 years. Or ever.

The sooner the politicians in Brussels and Sarajevo learn that, the sooner BiH starts functioning as a normal state.

cheering for 'BiH' is just about the same as one cheering for yugoslavia pre 1990, its just not gonna happen, neither are ours ! although in the upcoming game vs scg of course id rather se a bih win

not really why should i cheer for the balije, the teams as artificial as the state it represents, many players are jst there for exposure, they suposedly represent some multiethnic nature of the nation (a potemkin facade jst like the state itself) yet bosniak flags fly in the stands, you kno exactly who cheers for them, u wonder why BH dont play any games in say sirokibrijeg of banjaluka? we only got 1 national team HRVATSKA !

Well said Ero and Omolje. I too would rather see BiH beat SiCG but other than that they chose to differentiate themselves from us so why should we cheer for them? It's everyones personal opinion though....

My point is, I'm a Croat too, and support Croatia too, but I'm also born in Bosnia, and that is my homeland no matter what people say. Just because I'm a Croat, I don't choose to piss on Bosnia and those who live there, because I think my Croathood makes me better or whatever.

Bah, jebem mu mater, this thread was about BiH's qualifying games, and some people had to turn it into a Yugo-blah-blah discussion. :frown: :stupid1: :nono: :wallbang:

Dragan...100% agreed. There is no reason to piss on BiH or call it a Yugosranje

I get where you are coming from dragan, and I respect that...and some guys may be out of line with the language and comparisons, but the fact remains..

I, and the other 700,000 Croatians from BiH will not cheer for this country in soccer, nor will we ever love the ljiljani or any other foreign flag more than the Croatian flag.

This is our country as much as anyone elses, the cold war here has been evident since 95 when the hot war stopped....well see where it will lead all of us.

Ero,

I don't think anyone can expect you to love BiH more than Croatia but let's not blemish BiH with the brush of shugoslavia

I wouldnt shy away from that comparison, most Mostarci wouldnt either. From having a federal centralised governemnt, to having 3 constituate peoples, 3 languages, religions and identites, to a rotating presidency, idiotic currency and national intolerance....

you cannot force people together after everything so easily, a dictatorship is needed for that...
