ManU has again asked Portugal not to play Ronaldo.
http://www.worldsoccernews.com/
So I guess we won't see him playing in any Man U games till he's fully recovered?
These guys are nuts.
If he's playing for Manchester he can play for Portugal. Queiroz and Fergie can warn until they turn Smurf blue.

It'll be amusing to see Scolari tell'em so.
The FPF in conjunction with FIFA need to tell Sir Alex and the rest of the ManU cronies to go fuck themselves......
FIFA's mandate has always been and will always be country over club...

I don't know, Mourinho would not hesitate to do the same thing.

Yeah, a couple of weeks ago he made some noises that sounded an awful lot like what's coming out of Manchester.

Yes he has - He put up a stink about Tiago going to the Olympics.

That was it. I forgot about it because in that case Tiago agreed, and chose club over country.

Maybe ManU should put together a team consisting entirely of non-internationals. That way they will have nothing to bitch about. BTW, they get into these pissing matches with all of the players/national teams.

Or of only English players. ;)

Ah the battle of club vs country...been around since the crusades it seems.
Probable team:
Pauleta, Nuno Gomes, Postiga;
Cristiano Ronaldo, Simao, Boa Morte(Quaresma)
Deco
Costinha, Maniche, Tiago, Petit(Pedro Mendes)
Andrade, Carvalho, Miguel, P. Ferreira, N. Valente, Caneira(Jorge Ribeiro)
Ricardo, Quim(Moreira)
I think at the very least, Quaresma, Pedo Mendes, and Jorge Ribeiro should get some time in the sun.
