Porto begins their title defense today at home against the Moscow team currently at the top of the Russian tables. Most likely Porto will not repeat as champions, but qualification to the second round is not beyond our reach. Alot depends on this first home game, we need to get full points from this fixture.
Some former Porto members look capable of lifting the title this term with their new members. I see Chelsea and Barcelona as the most likely winners this year.

Still 0-0 at the half!
0-0 still with 4 minutes remaining...Not good for Porto...

Couldn't get the feed on internet radio, so I closed up shop early, and headed to the pub. Celtic-Barcelona was on though. Barcelona won 3-1, eventhough it was closer than it seemed. Deco scored the first, and Larsson also scored against his old team.
From what I heard Porto dominated the entire game, Postiga hit the post, the CSKA goalie supposedly had several good saves. CSKA hit the post twice. I heard that Porto played well, but that they don't look as sharp as last year yet. Too bad they couldn't take all 3 points. Porto need to get a win in Moscow to keep on track. I hope we don't have to go there in December.

I'm pretty sure, for Scandanavian/Russian, some eastern European countries there matches are reorganized to avoid Dec., so no worries.
Porto is just missing the cutting edge right now! Even if they had games where they stunk last year, usually a moment of class from Deco or Derlei would give them the "W".
FORCA PORTO!!!! :rocker:

Quaresma, Carlos Alberto, Diego, Fabiano, and Postiga are capable of the same.
But I must say, Mourinho is a hell of a coach. If he was still at Porto I doubt that they would be drawing these games.
