The following has to be one of the best stories (excuse me)/ rumors of the year.
Do you all remember the CL final when Mourinho had to duck for cover because he had received death threats??
Well it turns out according to some stories, rumors and innuendo, that Mourinho's life was indeed threatned, by a jealous Portista who happens to be one of the powerbrokers (one of the dudes with more than brain 2 cells but less than 5 that makes up the Portista matrix) of the SuperDragoes claque. According to the story, Mourinho was sending email, text messages and voice mail to the man's girlfriend/partner. Rumor has it, that Mourinho likes to play on the side with player's wives, and others such as the piece of ass he kept in Leiria.
But this one takes the cake. The Super Dragoes came out and attacked Mourinho for his indiscretions after the man delivered 5 out 6 trophies to them the past two seasons.
BWAHAHAHA!!!

He he...so that's what was behind the death threats eh??
potentially more embarrassing is the story about Porto wanting to send a protest to FIFA against the Seleccao for not making Nuno Valente's mri results available to them. How fucking petty.

It's obvious that's become personal with Porto and the FPF.

Yup. What's new is taking the fight into an international forum. Better when they keep it within the Portuguese media, which no one outside of the little place gives a damn about.

Maybe then they'll feel sorry for us and we'll get a couple sympathy calls our way... or something.

Would you expect anything else? They threatened the life of their own coach, in the biggest game of their club's pathetic existence.
If we were to translate all this stuff, and write a comedy out of it, Chapelle's 40 million would be nothing.

Another curious fact...according to one of the leaders of the Porto matrix who commented on this whole thing Rui Teixeira...Mourinho did indeed rip Rui Jorge's shirt last season, during their game at Alvalade with Sporting. But there are no TV images of it.
BWAHAHA! Where are the Portista clones on this one??

BWAHAHA! Where are the Portista clones on this one??Of course, he did. Was there any doubts before this little tid bit?
After a 3 day weekend and waiting by the phone for Mrs. Flo's family to constantly check in with us (They were seated right in the eye of Hurricane Frances, this is a breath of fresh air and making me laugh to say the least.
I always thought Mourinho was one to chase some ass outside of his wife but to this extent who would've guessed it?

It's not so much a problem with the European teams, but some of the stuff in South America and Africa is ridiculous. African Championships in February, in the middle of the European Season??? The clubs should not allow any of those players to leave. Abide by the standard internatinal dates and half the problem is solved.
If a player is injured send the fucking reports to his club, there should be a mutual cooperation b/w clubs and country. If a player is not needed then send him back.

The problem is that those countries don't follow Europe's professional scheduele. UEFA and FIFA can't dictate when those countries should have their leagues played. This isn't going away, so it will always be a operational risk when signing players from those parts of the world.

Actually FIFA is able to dictate the international dates. The CAF chooses not to abide by them, and that is why there are always problems between club and country. Players are often left to choose which is more important. That's why players like Jay-Jay Okocha are always in a limbo for Nigeria, sometimes on sometimes off. But I think that the FPF didn't act well in the case of the Valente injury. They should have provided the results and that's the end of the dilemma.
