Wow. Seems dropping Shearer really is fatal to the management. ;)

I always feel it is crazy when a manager is fired after only a few games in charge. Either make a brave decision in the pre-season, or give him a bit longer to get the new season established.

Well, good luck to Newcastle & their new coach. As for Robson, maybe he'll retire at last.
