Injury report:
Martins, Edson, Rogerio, Tello, TOAB - all out for various injuries and length of time.

Liedson was suspended by the club for this game, over his belly-aching on Sunday as he was being substituted.


Either Pinilla replaces Liedson upfront, or Wender starts and we move to a straight 4-3-3. Custodio should start as well in place of Loureiro.

Wtf, is wrong with Martins now? The guy seems to be made of fine china and tissue paper. He showed how influential he can be during that phase of good form last year, but he seems to have zero stamina and sustains injuries from nasty looks.

As ready as I am to blame Peseiro for our lapses, Liedson does need to be disciplined. His reaction didn't look so bad, but reports seem to agree that some disrespectful remark was aimed at Peseiro. Can't allow that.

Lingering thigh injury, I believe. You are right about his injury tendencies - very troubling. Last I heard, he should be ready for the weekend league game, though.


So far this season, there have been 2 public incidents with players stepping out of line. Both times it was taken care of swiftly by the SAD and both times the player in question was suspended. I'm starting to like Paulo da Andrade. This is a far cry from last year when it seemed the lunatics were running the asylum at times.

Why don't they use Pinilla more? When he came into the game he actually had 2 or 3 shots on net which is more then the 74 minutes before. He hit the crossbar with a wicked shot.

That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen SCP play. If it was against a quality european team we woulda got smoked at home 0-3!

I'm still shell shocked. Listened to the extra time in the car, and its amazing how much space you can make for yourself on the highway by screaming at the radio like a raving lunatic.

Peseiro must go. Putting his qualities as a coach aside for a moment, one thing is crystal clear, there's something very very wrong with the club and his "leadership" simply isn't working.

How could we go out so miserably to a little team like this? We caught every break we deserved, (they hit the post, crossbar and gave us an own goal), and then some. The team seemed determined not to win. How else do we explain that with 5 minutes to make a spot for ourselves in Europe, BOTH our central defenders stayed rooted behind the centre line? We should have been right down their throats. I agree with Alc, this was disgusting.

Good for Halmstad. With really no technical ability to speak of, they got through on pure guts and determination. It's always good to see those qualities win the day.
