Looks like Goran Visnjic is highly considered for the next actor to be James Bond. Other candidates for the role are Clive Owen, Eric Bana(novic) and Orlando Bloom. Some others as well.

Lets hope the people that choose the next James Bond haven't watched Visnjic's masterpiece "Sparticus." :zany:

Here's the other problem...they are going to have to change the name from James Bond to Jerko Ban.

LMAO!!!!

'Jerko Ban'...classic.

But seriously, I don't think they'd give it to Visnjic and I hope they don't give it to that Christian-hating Buddhist Bloom. He's a piece of shi.te if I ever saw one.

I don't remember that one MarkOh...though, I enjoyed Goran as the Russian heavy in the movie rounders where he was one of John Malkovich's lackies. :)

Orlando Bloom has no business being James Bond...I kind of though Pierce Brosnan was a pretty good Bond...granted he's getting older but he should have stayed on for the role.

Orlando Bloom is a faggot, a coward and a gypsy.

Along with Ridley Scott, that lying, historically inept, self-indulgent swine.

Great to see that propaganda of his doing so badly at the box-office.

I don't know how Orlando plays the roles he does. He's a little piece of shit who can't act and doesn't have the build for half the roles he plays in.

Orlando Bloom is still living off the fact that he played a bow and arrow shooting elf in LOTR's. He didn't have to say much which was absolutly perfect. :thumbup2:

He did a decent job for LOTR. But for taking on that lying role/propaganda, he'll unnerve me for a long time.

And I'm listening to the 'Fellowship' soundtrack now...what a masterpiece. The whole series. It's something extraordinary to put that book onto the silver screen the way PJ did.

LOTR's was done the right way...the entire trilogy was filmed all at once which helped keep the actors in character and thus producing a classic set of movies. The attention to detail and sticking as close to possible to Tolkien's books is what made LOTR's as great as it was.

I haven't seen one of them, and I'm not into the horror genre at all.

But because it's PJ I'll give them a try.

British actor Daniel Craig is new James Bond

April 06, 2005 20:22 IST

Producers of the hugely successful James Bond film franchise have chosen British actor Daniel Craig to take over the role of the suave spy.

The 37-year-old has been offered a three-film deal by Bond producer Barbara Broccoli and is expected to sign up formally in the next few weeks, the Sun newspaper reported.

Craig, a tough-looking actor who has made appearances in art-house titles and blockbusters such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, beat fellow Briton Clive Owen for the role.

Craig would be the sixth Bond in the official series of films based on the novels by Ian Fleming, following Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and most recent incumbent Pierce Brosnan.

According to the Sun, Owen -- nominated for an Oscar this year for Closer -- had told casting agents he did not want the job, although Broccoli was already favouring Craig. While Craig remains relatively unknown outside Britain, he is well respected as an actor and also has the necessary reputation for being something of a Bond-esque ladies man, having recently dated supermodel Kate Moss.

Citing an unnamed 'movie source,' the Sun said staff working at Eon Productions, which makes the Bond movies, had been told Craig would star in the next films.

This is from May 3. Not even mention of Daniel Craig.

Pierce Brosnan has told fellow Irishman Colin Farrell to try another day if he wants to be the next James Bond.

Bond producers are said to be looking for a new leading man and Farrell, X-Men superhero Hugh Jackman, Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom and Ewan McGregor have all been tipped for the part.

But Brosnan, 50, who played Bond in the last four films, told ITV1's This Morning that Farrell was not right for the part of 007.

The show's LA correspondent, Vickie Stokes, asked him: "What about Colin Farrell for 007?"

Brosnan replied: "Colin. No! I think he's a great actor but I don't think he's right for Bond.

"Some of the names that will be top of my list are Clive Owen, who's a fine actor, and Hugh Jackman, who is also a very fine actor," he said.

He added: "I was trained and led to believe that I could do anything and I've been pigeon holed.

"It's time in my life to step outside the box."

This is from May 18.

The Daily Bulletin attended a Q&A session with Casino Royale co-producer Michael G. Wilson who, knowing he would be asked James Bond questions, started off with what is known:

Without naming the questions, he gave this answer: "I don't know which actor; Jan. 17; Oct. 19, 2006; Aston Martin; "Casino Royale'; Martin Campbell; Prague and South Africa; yes, Judi Dench will be back; and no, Halle Berry won't reprise, but I'd love to make another film with her."

To translate for non-Bond fans: who will play Bond; when does filming begin; when's it coming out; which car will Bond drive; what's the title; who's the director; where are the locations; who will play M.; and is Jinx in it.

You tell me what does my article prove?

I must have been on some psychadelic drugs when i was watching the news that day. Im just telling you what i saw. If you dont want to take that info on board, all good. If you google "new james bond" there is no mention on the first page just something bout O. Bloom until the second page where there are like 5-6 things on him. So we will see when the movie comes out. I will expect an apology when it comes out. If i am wrong i will do the same for you.

Orlando Bloom is good as an elf but nothing else. Did anybody see the film 'Troy', I`ve seen blocks of wood act better than Bloom in that film. Most of the actors that people want are too young. I`m not sure if Daniel Craig is a good choice, he looks like too much of a bad guy for the role.

I have a really big problem allowing all those foreigners to buy our land. I know it's the free market and all, but it just irks me that some veterans can't eat, and we're giving land away like that.

Yeah, the government sold an entire Island to some Hungarians and the first thing they did was remove the Croatian flag that flew there and replaced it with a Hungarian flag. I fly 2 flags in front of my house, an American flag and a Croatian flag. The American flag flies above the Croatian flag because this is the United States and not Croatia...it would be nice if the Hungarians had the same respect for the country they are now living in.

Strancima dozvoljena kupnja 3.444 nekretnine

Im not 100% sure but I believe its against Cro law to fly another countries flag on Croatian soil. Last year my uncle who has a house in Smiljan[a few km out of Gospic,Lika] put up a Canadian flag for July 1st and was told by the passing MUP patrol car to take the flag down.
